HearingApp is committed to protecting your health information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We understand the sensitivity of your hearing health data and take our responsibility to protect it seriously.
All health data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption both at rest and in transit.
All access to your health information is logged and monitored for security.
Strict authentication requirements including optional two-factor authentication.
Sessions automatically expire after 15 minutes of inactivity.
You have the right to view and obtain a copy of your health information.
You may request corrections to your health information.
You may request restrictions on how your information is used.
You may request a list of disclosures of your health information.
In the unlikely event of a breach of your health information, we will notify you within 60 days as required by HIPAA. We maintain strict security measures to prevent such incidents.
